Crab pEarl?

Just yesterday I was having king crab legs when pulling out some of the meat out came a hard object which look like a piece of stone. I put it to the side and continued eating my crab....lol. Once done I rinsed it out which I think is a crab pearl. Is there a way to clean it without damaging the pearl? How can I find out if it's worth something?

Hello, a simple clean with mild soap and water should work fine. As far as I know there is only sentimental value to these but lucky you to find one and thanks for sharing! God bless. Kari
