Oyster Stew Finding a Pearl

My husband and I were enjoying a a Valentines buffet at Shady Maple Smorgasbord in East Earl, PA. He was eating oyster stew and thought he had a piece of a shell in his mouth. Spit it out and it was instead a pearl! Will just hold on to as a keepsake. 😊

How cool is that! Lucky you. I hope you kept better track of yours than I did of the one I found once in an oyster. Little did I know at the time so many years ago that I’d have a natural pearl business :)
