What grade pearls did Mikimoto use in necklaces with silver clasps?

Hi, I'm educating myself about Mikimoto pearls, and I wondered if you know whether the older necklaces with sterling silver clasps have pearls that fit into the current Mikimoto grading system? I've read that the newer pearls with a gold clasp that has a smaller pearl are grade A1 or A+, and the ones with a clasp that has a diamond are AA or AAA. What about the silver clasp necklaces, which seem to be older? Thanks.

Thanks for asking but
by: Kari

Hello Kay, thanks for asking but I am not a familiar with Mikimoto grading. I have visited about 15 Mikimoto stores around the world and enjoyed doing that, but I'm not familiar with the grading system. You'd have to ask the company to find out those things.
