Spring has finally arrived to Iowa. Our little apple trees and lilac bushes are ready to burst into bloom....I can't wait. But I did enjoy our long winter by joining my family on the ski slopes (yes, Iowa does have a few) and taking my first ski lessons. The two young friends helping me said I was a natural and it must be my Norwegian blood.
