I'm a happy mother these days....all 7 of our children are home.

Andrew, after living for 5 years in Istanbul, Turkey, has come home to continue his education.

It's more fun to cook for 9 people, I find....but they won't all be here for long...in a few days, Ethan, leaves for a 2 month adventure in northern Africa (a life-long dream of his), Anna, who just graduated from St. Ambrose University, and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship will be teaching English for a year in Korea, John will be going on a short term mission trip to El Salvador, and soon Sam will be going on a USA tour with his band.

So, as a mother, I'm cherishing these days of having all my children together "under my wings."

Also, karipearls.com and grassfedrecipes.com (my husband's site) will be sponsoring a "film festival" tomorrow night. (When all 7 of my children get together they get very creative!) You may read about the films here at their website: plainsfest.com.

I make money every day from my website....even if I don't sell pearls.

After 1 year something special is happening to karipearls.com...the search engines are giving me some super high rankings for lots of my pages...thanks to SBI...the money-making website program that costs me only $300/year....for teaching how to format pages so this can happen.

We're even brainstorming about a name for another website we'll be starting...one that our whole family will contribute too....A "Site Build It!" website is just a great way to make money.
