Anniversary Surprise

As is tradition, my husband and I were preparing Alaskan King crab legs for our anniversary dinner (14 years 7-13-21) when my son pulled this pearl from one of the legs! We were all completely shocked at what this “pearl” was as well as the size of it. It is absolutely incredible that this surprise made it into our home and very much enjoyed by both our kids (12 yo and 9 yo). Now, I want to know more about this phenomenon and our pearl!

Congratulations! What fun. As far as I know these "pearls" don't have any monetary value but make a nice keepsake. Nice to hear from someone so close to my home here in Muscatine, Iowa. God bless and thanks for sharing. Kari
