Fine natural pearls are rare, but even more so when they are white as well as round! These 103 pearls are white with pinkish orient -- the highest-ranked color of all. They are beautifully matched and glow like little white moons.
The necklace dates to about 1910. Its clasp is platinum, in the shape of a coffee bean and with a finely chased and millgrained design. The clasp is set with eight bright white, single-cut diamonds; four on each side. Two inches of 14K white gold chain added to each side of the clasp lengthens the necklace to 20 inches -- perfect for any size neck. Of course, if you desire a shorter length, an experienced jeweler can shorten the necklace.
The necklace has just been restrung on white silk. The certificate shown is included, as well as the appraisal for $8,930.
Only a tiny quantity of natural pearls are found today, making each antique natural pearl necklace a real treasure, worthy of being preserved for future generations!
