There is a book called Art Nouveau Jewelry written by Vivienne Becker that is full of illustrations of the jewelry of that period. The extensive use of natural pearls is evident throughout the illustrations and the book even mentions Mississippi pearls as being a factor in supplying natural pearls to the artisans of the period. The book is very inspirational for those who create jewelry.
