Hi Kari - Wonderful website with great information - thanks for adding me. As to the ambergris - no, I haven't found any yet but haven't been looking that long and we still have a number of whales swimming past so I'm sure it's only a matter of time (and luck) before I find some :)

Thanks for sharing your wonderful blister pearl with us. It would make a nice pendant.

I was just reading about ambergris the other day, how the Spaniards and Portuguese would hunt for this. Have you found some of it yourself?
