Found Huge 9.21 carat Natural Akoya Pearl Antique Ring

I purchased this antique pearl ring a few years ago. I decided to send it to GIA for a certification after Kari mentioned I should do so with a different pearl ring. I thought the chances of this huge pearl being natural was one in a million. It came back as natural Pinctada saltwater with no treatments! The pearl measures almost 12 mm and it weighs 9.21 carat. It is so large and lovely in its original platinum setting.

Oh, wow, what a super exciting discovery. Getting a certificate was a very good idea. There is an expense involved for sure, but in your case it paid off big time!

What a gorgeous ring and pearl. 12mm and 9.21 carats is a huge size and yours looks perfect.
