Small Pearl found in my Oyster

They must be popular in Louisiana. I was thinking of putting it in a shadow box as a keepsake, but now I'm thinking I should get it appraised in case it's worth something (I could certainly do with the money!).

Happy day to find a pearl. Great for you. Your idea to save it as a keepsake is the best idea as the value for these isn't super high.

It must have been a thrill....to find a real pearl!
