Indiana Dunes Mussel pearl

Must have been 1983..pops took me to Indiana shores for a beach holiday.

Went clam digging(mussels), and i was convinced I would find a pearl(although pop told me not to get my hopes up)
Later, when cooking em up, i found a small 2mm pearl!!! half orange- half pink! More oval than perfectly round.

Took it to a jeweler to set it, but he lost it and soon closed shop!
Oh well..never will forget that wish come true! Good times
