As my husband and I sat outside on this beautiful Blood Moon day of Oct.8th 2014 having a few dozen clams for lunch ....I bit down n looked at him spitting out something hard saying ," OMG WHAT IS IN MY MOUTH !" I thought it was my tooth ? LoL so as im feeling with my tongue over all my teeth my husband goes "NO WAY !!! ITS A PEARL !!!" WoW ! It definitly was one of those IM THE LUCKEST PERSON OF THEY DAY...... Shortly thereafter a Black Cat ran across the street right in front of my car !?

Hi Sherry and Danny,

Well, don't be too superstitious about the black cat, but finding a pearl is exciting no matter if on a Blood Moon day or not.

What type of clams were you eating?

What does your pearl look like?

Can you try again and send a photo this time?

Congratulations! Natural pearls are special!

PS. We've been having unexpected Blood Moons here in Iowa apparently from the smoke from northern forest fires.

I'm planning on being in Israel for the last official Blood Moon of 2015.
