Seventy-five pearls, fastened with a diamond clasp, was the most valuable lot of the sale at $319,000 (GBP 194,500) and a single-row pearl necklace of 70 pearls achieved $181,000 (GBP 110,500) against a high presale estimate of only $14,700. A three-row necklace of natural saltwater pearls sold for quadruple the presale estimate at $151,500 (GBP 92,500).
