Pearl we found....

8-9 years ago my wife found a completely intact oyster shell at Half Moon Bay with what appears to be a pearl or developing one. We shared some pictures we took with a person selling pearls who thought we should have it evaluated. Hoping you can give us some direction.

Hi Rob, Congratulations on finding a natural pearl. Auctions houses have free estimation days. You can look online to one near you to find out information about that. Also the EGL gemological lab in NYC does appraisals on pearls. There will be a fee and you can find out on their website all the information you need about that. Thanks for sharing.
