Quahog clam pearl or marble?

I have a history of finding marbles around in weird places. My husband teases me about "losing my marbles" all the time. I found this amoung the rocks at low tide (I live in Nova Scotia). Hubby thinks maybe not another marble but maybe a pearl? Thoughts?

Hello Becky, Hard to tell from a photo but it is a possibility. I suggest taking it to a local jeweler who should be able to tell you one way or the other. I hope so, for you. It's lovely at any rate. Thanks for sharing, Kari
