Thanks for sharing the photo of your quahog pearl and GIA certificate. It's neat that folks appreciate these rare natural USA quahog pearls. They are indeed treasures! I'm always amazed at how nicely formed almost all quahog pearls are, making them perfect for rings, etc.

An editor for the Martha Stewart magazine called me the other day and even though she has collected the quahog shells for years, she had never heard of the pearls. That is another indicator of how rare these beautiful pearl really are.

It's always especially nice to see a photo. Thanks again for sharing your lovely, large purple quahog pearl with all of us!
