This pearl was discovered in 1977 in Ocean City, Maryland by a career waterman. He had discovered several over the years, but this one was by far the largest, and most beautiful. He treasured it and kept it until his passing and it was then left to his great niece (as he had no children of his own). Her wishes are that someone who would treasure it, just as he did would purchase it and enjoy it for their lifetime.
