Could this be a quahog pearl?

Could this be a quahog pearl?

I was visiting Venice, Florida when a tropical storm rolled in. It calmed down, so I went to the beach to search for shells. I thought this was a rock or a sea bean, but wonder if it is a Quahog pearl? What do you think?

Hello CJ,

I really don't know. It looks more like a rock to me from the photo.

Have you showed it to any jewelers?

Are there Little Neck or Cherry Stone clams in the area?

I suggest finding a knowledgeable jeweler and get a opinion.
